The Coastal Launch Project

The Coastal Launch project aims to develop the infrastructure for the manufacturing and operation of the next generation of medium-lift ZENIT space launch vehicles in Australia to address global demand. Cosmovision Global Corporation will develop the production and launch infrastructure for ZENIT, manufacture and assemble the launch vehicles, integrate them with the payloads, and launch the LV from the Northern Territory launch site. The further advancement of the project includes development of an all-electric satellite platform, in line with the latest trends of satellite technology. Using an all-electric satellite platform will completely eradicate the toxic fuels from all spaceport operations, which will make Coastal Launch the first ever really environmentally-friendly space launch operation.

The launch vehicle will be manufactured and integrated with the payload at the production facility located at the industrial port city in New South Wales, and transported by the Ro-Ro sea vessel to the launch site in the Northern Territory Far North for launch. Launch operations will be carried on from the launch site, which will be located at approximately 12 degrees south latitude at the Gove Peninsula.
